The Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the China Association for Science and Technology, and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League recently decided to award Wan Ruixue and other 100 comrades the 17th China Youth Science and Technology Award, including 10 China Youth Science and Technology Award special awards.

On the morning of November 12, at the opening ceremony of the 2022 World Young Scientists Summit held in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, the 17th China Youth Science and Technology Award was announced and the award ceremony was held.
Established in 1987, the China Youth Science and Technology Award is an award for young scientific and technological workers across the country. The award was proposed by Qian Xuesen and other older generation scientists, and was jointly established and implemented by the Organization Department of the Central Committee, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and the China Association for Science and Technology. Commend and reward young scientific and technological talents who have made outstanding achievements in national economic development, social progress and scientific and technological innovation.
The China Youth Science and Technology Award is selected every two years, and no more than 100 people will be awarded each time, and no more than 10 special prize winners of the China Youth Science and Technology Award will be selected from the current winners. Over the past 30 years, about 1,500 young scientists have won awards.
