World's first! Two-photon microscope obtains first three-dimensional image of astronaut's skin

The astronaut crew of Shenzhou 15 recently used the space station two-photon microscope independently developed by my country to carry out the on-orbit verification experiment mission and achieved success. This is the world's first known use of a two-photon microscope to obtain three-dimensional images of the epidermis and superficial dermis of an astronaut's skin during a spaceflight, which provides a new tool for future on-orbit health monitoring research on astronauts.
