Ross Sea new station renderings
On February 5, Beijing time, the acceptance team of the Ross Sea New Station arrived in the waters near the Ross Sea New Station on the ship "Snow Dragon 2". Today (6th), the main building of the new station will be inspected and accepted.
The "Snow Dragon 2" carrying out China's 40th Antarctic expedition mission returned to Lyttleton Port, New Zealand, for personnel rotation after completing its ocean survey in the Amundsen Sea. After the new station acceptance team came on board, the "Snow Dragon 2" set off again to the Ross Sea new station.
Today, the new station acceptance team will accept the main building of the new station in accordance with relevant regulations and procedures by listening to reports from relevant units, inspecting the construction site, and consulting relevant information.
