National Natural Science Foundation of China solemn statement

Recently, some criminals used forged official documents from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (hereinafter referred to as the National Natural Science Foundation of China) to authorize the establishment of so-called "Natural Science Foundation pilot communities". They recruited members of the public to post false posters and use instant messaging software (such as MosTalk, etc.) ) contacted and pretended to be staff of the Natural Science Foundation of China to preach and promote through online video conferences, inducing everyone to download and install APPs (such as "Natural Science", "ZRKJ", etc.), and purchase so-called "Natural Science Foundation financial products" in the APP, and implemented MLM fraud. This illegal behavior seriously violated the legitimate rights and interests of the public and damaged the reputation of the National Natural Science Foundation. To this end, our unit once again solemnly declares as follows:

1. The only official website of the Natural Science Foundation of China is: http://www.nsfc.gov.cn; the only WeChat subscription number is: National Natural Science Foundation of China. The Natural Science Foundation of China has never authorized any unit or individual to open a website, APP, etc., has never authorized any unit or individual to establish a "Natural Fund Pilot Community", and has never launched a Natural Science Fund financial product.

2. We warn all units or individuals who pretend to be departments or staff of the Natural Science Foundation of China to carry out illegal activities to immediately stop all illegal and criminal activities. Our unit reserves the right to pursue their legal responsibility.

3. Remind all sectors of society and the general public to be more vigilant and guard against being deceived. Once you discover illegal activities such as financial promotion, pyramid schemes and fraud in the name of the Natural Science Foundation, please report the case to the local public security agency in a timely manner.
