Having crossed the equator, the "Snow Dragon 2" has entered the Southern Hemisphere.

The 41st Antarctic Expedition team of China, organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources, officially set out from Guangzhou earlier this month, heading to Antarctica. The expedition team is traveling on the research vessels “Xuelong” and “Xuelong 2.” Due to the difference in speed between the two ships, this morning (the 6th), the “Xuelong 2” just crossed the equator.

At present, both the “Xuelong” and “Xuelong 2” have crossed the equator, and the next challenge for both ships will be navigating the Southern Hemisphere's westerlies.
