
On the 6th, the reporter learned from the Anhui Quantum Computing Engineering Research Center that Benyuan Quantum Computing Technology (Hefei) Co., Ltd. launched China's fourth-generation independent quantum computing measurement and control system "Benyuan Tianji 4.0" that supports 500+ quantum bits. This indicates that my country's quantum computing industry has replicable and iterative engineering production capabilities, laying the industrial foundation for the mass production of hundreds of bit quantum computers.
The quantum computing measurement and control system is the "nerve center" of the quantum computer, and undertakes the core functions of precise signal generation, collection and control of quantum chips. "Origin Tianji 4.0" is another upgrade after version 3.0 was applied to my country's third-generation independent superconducting quantum computer "Origin Wukong", achieving a leapfrog improvement in scalability, integration, performance stability and automation level.
Kong Weicheng, deputy director of the Anhui Quantum Computing Engineering Research Center and head of the "Benyuan Tianji" research and development team, introduced that the series of underlying software and hardware architectures they independently developed further enhanced the efficient control and precise reading of quantum chips, which can greatly shorten the research and development and delivery time of quantum computers.
It is understood that "Original Tianji 4.0" also carries four additional core software - quantum computing measurement and control system server management software Naga&Venus, superconducting quantum bit bottom-level control service software Monster, full-interface quantum chip control and analysis application software Visage, and quantum computer operating system connection software Storm. Among them, the full-interface quantum chip control and analysis application software Visage will subvert the traditional mode of superconducting quantum chip debugging.
"If the quantum chip is a sophisticated miniature city, the full-interface quantum chip control and analysis application software Visage is its 'central control intelligent brain', which can quickly sense the 'vital signs' of quantum bits." Kong Weicheng said that the development of Visage, the "central control intelligent brain" of the quantum chip, has achieved progress in the automated auxiliary control technology of superconducting quantum chips and significantly improved the efficiency and accuracy of superconducting quantum chip testing.
Guo Guoping, director of the Anhui Quantum Computing Engineering Research Center and chief scientist of Benyuan Quantum Computing Technology (Hefei) Co., Ltd., introduced that since its launch, China's third-generation independent superconducting quantum computer "Benyuan Wukong" equipped with "Benyuan Tianji 3.0" has completed more than 380,000 quantum computing tasks for more than 26 million people from 139 countries and regions around the world, empowering finance, biomedicine, fluid dynamics and other fields.
