On June 19, Geely Galaxy’s new hybrid sedan – Geely Galaxy A7 officially debuted at the Geely Galaxy Science and Art Museum.
It is reported that Geely Galaxy A7 is built based on the GEA global intelligent new energy architecture. It is the first to be equipped with Thor AI hybrid 2.0 and the new Galaxy Flyme Auto intelligent cockpit system. With an ultra-long wheelbase of 2845mm, it can achieve 2L-level power-feeding fuel consumption and an ultra-long comprehensive range of 2100+km.
With the outstanding design of the new car and its "generation-leading" hard-core strength in energy consumption, space, intelligence and safety, Geely hopes to completely break the "enough thinking" in the family car market and lead the electric hybrid family car into a new era.

In terms of energy consumption, Geely Galaxy A7 is the first to be equipped with the latest Thunder AI Hybrid 2.0, an electric hybrid engine with an integrated thermal efficiency of up to 47.26%, and the industry's first power domain intelligent body based on an AI scenario engine, "Star AI Cloud Power 2.0". With AI empowerment, the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers under CLTC conditions is 2.67L, and the media has tested that the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers under all road conditions is as low as 2.35L. The comprehensive range is over 2,100km when fully fueled and fully charged, and the power is not limited when accelerating with power feed. The charging speed of 30-80% can be achieved in 18 minutes, eliminating the anxiety of range.
In terms of space, the 2845mm wheelbase and 4918mm body length are both leapfrog, with an interior space of 4.2㎡, 950mm rear legroom, and 132mm kneeroom, achieving the C-class rear space experience with the size of a B-class car. It is also equipped with a 14-point SPA-level acupressure massage for the waist, back, hips and legs, plus 28 storage spaces throughout the car and a trunk of up to 535L, which can easily meet the needs of multiple people traveling and loading a large amount of items.

The new car is equipped with the new Galaxy Flyme Auto intelligent cockpit system for the first time. With the deep empowerment of AI technology, based on the Star Smart Computing Center with a comprehensive computing power of up to 23.5 EFLOPS, it is equipped with a new cockpit interactive intelligent body, AutoNavi 810 map navigation and Hicar and other car interconnection family buckets, bringing a new cockpit intelligent experience.
In terms of safety, Geely Galaxy A7 has a design of oil, electricity and smoke circuit separation to ensure the native safety of the whole vehicle; the SHIELD battery safety system has passed more than 100 full-scenario extreme working condition tests, and it will not burn when pierced by 8 needles, will not leak when soaked in water for 24 hours, will not explode when dropped from 2 meters, and will not be burned by 700℃ high temperature fire; it adopts power redundancy technology, and the P1, P3 motors and the engine back up each other to avoid EV restrictions; it is equipped with an ultra-high-strength "cage" star armor body and reinforced McPherson suspension, and has enough "safety redundancy" to deal with various emergencies, achieving a passing score of 80.2km/h in the elk test and a zero-to-hundred braking distance of 34.64m.
It is reported that Geely Galaxy A7 will soon launch a series of fuel consumption test challenges called "2L Breaking the World" in China and Japan, and will be officially launched in the third quarter.
