Building on the trust of 6.5 million users, Lavida embarks on a new journey.
On November 17th, the SAIC Volkswagen Lavida Pro officially launched, with a limited-time price of 88,800-112,900 yuan, and simultaneously offers multiple purchase benefits including lifetime warranty. The new car features a comprehensive upgrade in design, space, chassis, and intelligent systems, aiming to redefine the standards of the A+ class family sedan market and provide families with a higher quality travel option.

In terms of appearance, the Lavida Pro adopts the latest family design language, with its body length increased to 4720mm, reaching the A+ class level. The front face retains two styles: the horizontal chrome grille emphasizes a family-oriented and stable style, while the Starry Sky version is equipped with an obsidian grille to enhance the sense of technology. The streamlined roof and integrated rear design further optimize the visual proportions, and together with the dynamic wheels, the overall shape balances elegance and sportiness.

The interior continues the minimalist style of the Pro family, based on a Scandinavian home aesthetic. It features integrated air conditioning vents, a column shifter, and an upward-pulling inner handle, enhancing the sense of spaciousness and ease of operation. The wraparound seats are ergonomically optimized to strengthen support for the shoulders, waist, and legs, creating a comfortable, home-like experience.

The upgraded Lavida Pro, now part of the Pro family, is the first model in the Lavida series to feature a four-wheel independent suspension. This new suspension, combined with a chassis system tuned for Chinese road conditions, effectively filters out bumps, improving driving stability and ride comfort. In terms of power, the 1.5T model is equipped with the EA211 1.5T EVOⅡ engine, producing a maximum power of 118kW and a peak torque of 250N・m, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. It achieves a fuel consumption of 5.54L/100km and accepts 92-octane gasoline, striking a balance between power output and fuel economy.

Another major upgrade is the enhancement of intelligent features. The new car is equipped with the same Qualcomm 8155 chip as the Passat Pro, which improves response speed and multitasking capabilities based on the MQB-EVO intelligent architecture. The intelligent AI cockpit integrates Baidu's Wenxin Yiyan and DeepSeek technologies, and is deeply integrated with the Tencent ecosystem, supporting in-car WeChat, Tencent Maps, and Tencent Travel 2.0, enabling voice messaging, account interoperability, and seamless navigation, improving convenience and safety while driving.

Safety has always been a strong point of the Lavida, and the new Lavida Pro boasts high-strength steel accounting for 81% of its total structure. It features seven airbags, including a newly added central airbag. The front seatbelts with dual pretensioners and dual-level force limiters adjust their restraint strategy according to the intensity of a collision. In terms of manufacturing processes, stamping precision errors are controlled within 0.02mm, and technologies such as laser welding and cavity wax injection are used to enhance corrosion resistance and durability. The new car has also undergone extreme tests, including extreme cold weather, rain, and durability tests, ensuring reliability throughout its entire lifecycle.

Since its debut in 2008, the Lavida family has undergone five generations of iterations, accumulating 6.5 million users and becoming a representative family sedan in the Chinese market. The official launch of the Lavida Pro marks the official entry of the Lavida series into the "Pro era," continuing the brand's genes with superior product capabilities and further consolidating its benchmark position in the family sedan market.
