
At the 23rd Guangzhou International Auto Show, which opened on November 21, GAC Group showcased the reform achievements of the "Panyu Action" one year in progress and officially released the "Four Engines" for creating value for users: new technologies, new products, new services, and new ecosystem.
At the press conference, GAC Group Chairman Feng Xingya stated, "The path of transformation has begun, and the fruits of transformation are ripening! Guided by the 'Panyu Action,' GAC will build four core development engines: new technologies, new products, new services, and a new ecosystem, striving to achieve the goal of recreating a new GAC during the 15th Five-Year Plan period!"

At the press conference, Feng Xingya introduced that GAC Group has fully implemented the IPD (Integrated Product Development) process, deeply integrating user needs into the entire product lifecycle from definition and R&D to market launch. Currently, business efficiency has improved by approximately 50%, the new vehicle development cycle has been shortened from 26 months to 18-21 months, market response speed has increased more than sixfold, and R&D costs have decreased by over 10%, laying a solid foundation for rapidly launching products that meet user expectations. Simultaneously, an IPMS (Integrated Product Marketing and Sales) system has been established, a "Product Commercialization Team" has been formed, and a user-centric "end-to-end" process has been constructed to bring more value to users.
In addition, the company culture has been reshaped, and the "project-based" approach has been used to stimulate employee vitality. The new team of professional managers has been fully in place.
In terms of new technologies, GAC Group showcased a number of technological achievements. For example, in the field of new energy, the "Star Source Range Extender" technology has achieved three core breakthroughs; the mass-produced Quark electric drive motor has achieved a maximum efficiency of over 99%, the highest level in the industry; the cartridge battery has been used in over 1.3 million vehicles with zero spontaneous combustion and has ensured over 50 billion kilometers of safe travel; and the all-solid-state battery pilot production line has officially started production.

In terms of new product development, GAC Group will launch nine facelifted and all-new models in 2026. Regarding new services, GAC is on the one hand, fully promoting channel transformation and planning to add 600 brand experience stores, covering more than 90% of county-level markets nationwide, making services readily accessible. On the other hand, it continues to promote OTA upgrades. This year, GAC's own brands have completed 45 OTA updates, adding and optimizing over 300 functions and experiences, covering more than 16 models and nearly 1.5 million car owners.

In terms of ecological development, taking the energy ecosystem as an example, GAC is working with industry chain partners to build a complete "26 Energy Action" ecosystem service system. It has also signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with CATL to carry out a ten-year long-term cooperation in areas such as the joint construction of the battery swapping ecosystem.
At the auto show, GAC Group showcased a range of its latest intelligent technology models across all its brands. For example, the GAC Haobo A800, a self-owned brand, officially unveiled its interior at the show. Featuring world-first 2+1 convertible seats and a front and rear dual-wrap cockpit, among other leading technologies, it delivers an unprecedented intelligent and luxurious experience to users.
In addition, a "Technology GAC" exhibition area was set up for the first time to unlock more possibilities for future travel for users.
