The 27th Shanghai International Film Festival will announce its schedule on June 3, and ticket sales will start at 12 noon on June 5 on the two major platforms of Damai and Tao Piao Piao. The opening film is "The Mystery of Jiangyuan Lane" directed by Chen Kexin, which will be screened in more than 100 theaters in Shanghai after the Golden Goblet Gala on the evening of June 14, creating a warm atmosphere of "light and shadow all over the city, everyone can participate".
This year, the Shanghai International Film Festival has upgraded and adjusted the screening unit planning to create more special units and show more diverse perspectives. The "Tribute to the Masters" unit tried the combination and tribute of "two masters" for the first time; the "Today's Asia" unit was added to emphasize the film festival's Asian perspective and bring together the annual new works of Asian countries. Among them, the "Contemporary Filmmakers" was specially set up to sort out the representative works of active filmmakers in the Asian film industry today; the "World Vientiane" was newly set up as "Art of Britain"; the "Multiple Perspectives" unit was newly set up as "Zoom In" to select outstanding genre films from all over the world; the new "Image Unlimited" unit was set up to break the traditional concept of film and introduce various contents and forms such as experimental images and concert images.
