As the third model launched by the Jike X brand, the Jike X was indeed a rare, refined pure electric mini car in its class, designed for urban use, when it was released in 2023. Even now, there are still not many refined pure electric mini cars like the Jike X on the market, which has earned the Jike X a considerable following.
However, in today's rapidly evolving electric vehicle technology and market, the relatively high price of the Jike X clearly excludes many potential consumers. Therefore, reducing the purchase cost while retaining its dynamic design and refined style has become the direction for Jike X's transformation.

To address this demand, the JKX brand launched the new JKX X, available in three configurations with an official price range of 155,800 to 175,800 yuan. For a limited time, the price will be further reduced to 145,800 to 165,800 yuan through the Super Trade-in program. It's clear that JKX aims to differentiate itself in the increasingly competitive new energy small car market by streamlining configurations and optimizing user experience.

Compared to the previous model, the new Jike X lineup has been significantly simplified, moving from a complex SKU system to three clear configurations, reducing consumer confusion. While offering a more affordable price, the features have been enhanced, with the most significant change being the inclusion of a 14.6-inch electrically adjustable smart screen as standard across the entire range. This screen boasts a 353mm electric sliding rail, allowing it to move between the center console and the passenger side, catering to both the driver's vehicle control needs and the passenger's entertainment requirements.

In terms of appearance, the design language of the new X-Carry remains largely unchanged, continuing the minimalist style. The vehicle measures 4450/1836/1572mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2750mm. Its compact silhouette, sculpted lines, and two-tone design create a sporty hatchback styling. A new "Seattle Green" body color option, with its matte finish and warm khaki green hue, further enhances its refined appeal.

The changes to the cabin are subtle yet practical. The sliding "magic island" of the old model has been replaced by a fixed design. The new center console features dual phone slots, larger storage compartments, and cup holders that can securely hold water bottles and milk tea cups, significantly improving everyday convenience.

The interior materials and craftsmanship have also been upgraded. For example, the previous chrome parts have been replaced with glossy black chrome, the seats have adopted a more stylish stitching process, and the headliner has been upgraded to Microfiber 2nd generation microfiber velour with a more delicate feel.

In terms of space layout, the new model continues to offer both 4-seater and 5-seater versions. The 4-seater version features a unique rear electric seat cushion folding function, which can create a flexible space with a longitudinal height of 1.1 meters, making it easy to place pets or tall items. The highly praised zero-gravity front passenger seat is also still an exclusive feature of the 4-seater version.
The powertrain is one of the highlights of the new X-Drive. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive model boasts a combined power output of 365kW and a peak torque of 573N·m, achieving 0-100km/h acceleration in just 3.69 seconds, delivering performance comparable to a "hot hatch." It offers two battery options: a 61kWh gold brick battery and a 66kWh ternary lithium battery, providing CLTC ranges of 530km and 512km respectively.

In addition to its impressive specifications, the new X-Trail has also undergone an optimization of its chassis tuning. Compared to the softer setup of the old model, the new car's suspension offers stronger support and tighter rebound, providing a more stable body posture when cornering and changing lanes. At the same time, it has not completely sacrificed the comfort of daily driving, and the overall quality has shifted from "soft" to "resilient".

In China's current new energy vehicle market, the small pure electric vehicle segment is showing a polarized trend. Low-priced small cars, represented by the Hongguang Mini EV, have long dominated the sales charts, while small cars that emphasize a refined feel have been met with a lukewarm reception due to the imbalance between price and perceived value. However, it cannot be ignored that there are still quite a few small car consumers who seek higher levels of intelligent features, better space design, and longer driving range.
From this perspective, the arrival of the new Extreme Krypton X with its "price reduction and increased features" is quite appropriate.
