China's new energy vehicle market welcomes another heavyweight contender.
On November 18, Voyah Automobile officially launched its new-era flagship SUV, the Voyah Taishan, in Shenzhen under the theme of "Striving for the Peak".

It is reported that the new car will be launched in four versions, with an official guide price range of RMB 379,900 to RMB 509,900, and launch benefits with a total value of RMB 48,000 will be launched at the same time.
This highly anticipated strategic model not only marks the completion of Voyah's matrix layout of three flagship products across sedans, MPVs, and SUVs, but is also seen as a key step in its push into the core of the high-end market and strengthening its prospects for a Hong Kong IPO.
According to reports, the name "Lantu Taishan" carries profound meaning, aiming to pay tribute to the spirit of composure and responsibility of the times. Its product strength directly targets the top-tier luxury SUV market, and it has made comprehensive breakthroughs in intelligence, comfort, power performance and safety.
Intelligent technology is one of the core competitive advantages of the Voyah Taishan. The new vehicle is equipped with the latest Huawei GanKun ADS 4.0 intelligent driving system, which adopts a four-lidar solution, aiming to achieve a leap from "imitating human driving" to "surpassing human driving". The cabin is equipped with HarmonyOS 5.0 and features a large voice model for the first time, striving to reach new heights in the smoothness and execution capability of human-computer interaction.
In terms of comfort features, the Voyah Taishan spares no expense, aiming to redefine the value benchmark for six-seater flagship SUVs. Features such as a 13-liter dual-door intelligent air conditioning and heating system, a Voyah Sound 32-speaker panoramic sound system, a 21.4-inch 3K ceiling-mounted entertainment screen, second-row electric sunshades, and a dual-C active noise cancellation system combine to create a cabin experience comparable to million-dollar luxury cars. The specially designed AI Cloud Comfort Seats, incorporating 66 sensors, offer 26-point master-level massage functions, pushing comfort to the extreme.
In terms of core technologies, the Voyah Taishan is equally impressive. It is the world's first Chinese SUV equipped with the 800V intelligent hybrid system, boasting a pure electric range of 350 kilometers and a combined range exceeding 1400 kilometers. It supports 5C peak charging, taking only 12 minutes to charge from 20% to 80%. In terms of power, it comes standard with a torque vectoring intelligent four-wheel drive system, achieving 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.2 seconds.
The Voyah Taishan is also the first Chinese brand vehicle in China to be equipped with a three-chamber air suspension and the first in the industry to feature rear-wheel steering parking functionality. Combined with the EDC Magic Carpet function and bidirectional 16° rear-wheel steering, this behemoth, over 5.2 meters long, has a turning radius of only 5.4 meters, offering both stability and agility. In terms of safety, the CAS 4.0 all-dimensional collision avoidance system, seven-layer frontal collision and five-layer rear-end collision protection design, 2200MPa fortress-level door rings, and nine airbags supporting a 6-second extended pressure hold period constitute a comprehensive safety fortress.

The launch of the Voyah Taishan comes at a crucial time in Voyah's development and will further enhance Voyah's product competitiveness and brand influence in the high-end market.
According to reports, Voyah has shown strong growth momentum this year, with cumulative deliveries from January to October increasing by 82% year-on-year. Its gross profit margin has increased significantly from 8.3% in 2022 and has further increased to 21.3% in the first seven months of 2025. It is the fastest new energy vehicle company in the industry to achieve single-quarter profitability and the fastest to turn positive operating cash flow.
